Jerry Reese's first real crisis as general manager has arrived, with the mandate to fix last year’s 8-8 playoff-less debacle coming immediately after the season ended. As much as Reese is buoyed by the clean-slate optimism of the preseason, he knows that when owner John Mara railed against an embarrassing 2009 finish, he was first among equals being put on notice.
