Smith "excited" about adding a WR
Steve Smith, in addition to Justin Tuck and Eli Manning is extremely excited to add a #1 receiver to the Giants. It looks like most of the current Giants are very welcoming to the possible addition of Braylon Edwards.

Who should the Giants Draft? According to Newsday
Newsday's sports writers break down the Giants biggest needs to address going into the NFL Draft just 4 days away.
Ten draft picks give Giants plenty of options
I think it's time to give thanks to Jeremy Shockey for giving the Giants a plethora of trade options going into the 2009 NFL Draft. The waste of space that he was for the last two years that he was with the Giants is finally going to pay dividends.
GIANTS FACE WEIGHTY DECISION WITH NICKS
Paul Schwartz of the NY Post discusses the possibility of the Giants drafting Hakeem Nicks. North Carolina receiver Hakeem Nicks gained 14 pounds after the NFL Combine, which could mean he'll fall in Saturday's draft. The Giants, who are interested in Nicks, would still likely have to trade up from the 29th pick to get him.
Better prospect: Brian Robiskie or Anthony Gonzalez
Coming out of OSU who do think was the better prospect? I'm asking this because I see them as similar receivers. Both possession No. 2 receivers. The Indianapolis Colts took Gonzalez late in the First Round of the 2007 draft. I've heard the Giants love Robiskie so I'm wondering if the Giants would take the him at 29. If the giants go with a defensive player in the 1st round, I would definitely draft Robiskie in the 2nd. Everyone is scouting him as the safest WR in the draft after Michael Crabtree.
Someone Might Trade For Edwards Without A New Contract
There has been a lot of speculation that if a team trades for Braylon Edwards, they might not give him a contract extension. With the possibility of an uncapped year in 2010, Braylon Edwards would become a restricted free agent, meaning the team that traded for him would still have his rights if they wanted. More than likely, he will get an extension if traded because of the problems that he would make if he didn't get an extension but you never know.
What the New York Giants need to target in the 2009 NFL Draft
Mike Garafalo of the Star Ledger believes the Giants 3 biggest needs in order are 1. WR 2. LB 3. RB.
