To open running game, Giants need passing success

Ex-Giant Ward needs success for a new nickname
Derrick Ward Running back Last team: New York Giants New team: Updated March 2: The Tampa Bay Buccaneers signed Ward to a four-year, $17 million contract. Bob Glauber says: The "Wind" in "Earth, Wind & Fire," Ward had an exceptional season in 2008, getting over 1,000 yards for the first time in his career. The Giants want to re-sign him, but it won't be easy with Jacobs already receiving a multi-year deal. A very shifty runner who will be attractive to several teams if he hits the market.

Big Blue bull's-eye on Cowboys lineman Flozell Adams
The Giants will be seeking some revenge in their Dec. 6 rematch with Dallas and Flozell Adams. On two separate plays last Sunday, Adams leg-whipped Osi Umenyiora and Justin Tuck.
