Will Cardinals cut Pro Bowl FS Antrel Rolle? (Could he be a top target for the GMEN?)

This could become a very interesting development for the New York Giants this offseason.  Antrel Rolle was drafted 8th overall in the 2005 NFL Draft by the Arizona Cardinals to become their shutdown corner.  Unfortunately, that idea never came to fruition but in 2008, Rolle found a very steady position for himself at Free Safety.  Over the past 3 seasons, Rolle has totaled 10 interceptions and was even used at Quaterback on occasion last season in wildcat formations.  Known as a heavy hitter and ballhawk, Antrel Rolle has created a nice niche for himself at Free Safety, which happens to be a glaring hole for the New York Giants.  With Kenny Phillips coming back from injury, where no one really knows if he will get back to 100% and having no other legit starter at free safety, Rolle seems like the perfect fit for the Giants.  If Phillips is healthy and that is a big if, pairing two former Miami Hurricanes in the secondary could prove to become a lethal combination for the Giants.  Over the past many years with the drafting of Jeremy Shockey, William Joseph, and Kenny Phillips, the Giants aren't afraid to take a chance of the unbelievable talent coming out of the U.  Not only are Phillips and Rolle great friends, but both have the smarts to play either safety position.  I think he would be a tremendous addition to the Giants secondary next season and hopefully the Giants coaching staff agrees.
