BEEN DONE BEFORE: When Steve Smith and the Giants lost to the Brandon Siler and the Chargers, Big Blue became the second team to go from 5-0 to 5-4. The first, John Robinson’s 1989 Rams, bounced back to make the NFC title game, after beating the Giants in the so-called Flipper Anderson game.
